Fishes

Fishing is very popular in Malopolska. There are countless perfect spots for practicing this sport in the rivers and fast- flowing streams. The Dunajec is the most important and popular Polish river for fly- fishing. All along the Poprad you can angle with any bait. Apart the fish characteristic for mountain regions, you may be lucky enough to catch a burbot. The Raba is a large trout river, especially attractive near Myslenice and Dobczyce. Highly tempting are the reservoirs in Roznow and Czorsztyn- Niedzica: here, anglers can rent boats and make use of very good accomodation avaible in the vicinity.
