OUR TOURS

The Museum was established within the boundaries of the largest Nazi concentration camp that functioned on the Polish soil during the World War II. Auschwitz was a place of death of millions of citizens from many countries, people of various political convictions and religions, civilians, members of resistance organizations and prisoners-of-war alike.

The historic Salt Mine is the only place in the world where mining has been continued from the Middle Ages. Constructed on nine levels, these excavations strech for over 300 km and reach depth of 327 meters. The Salt Mine is the UNESCO's World Heritage.
